The Helders Sewing Machine House has been around for more than 30 years! In August 1993 we opened our doors at Wezenstraat 10 in Den Helder. After 1.5 years we moved to across the street; Wezenstraat 1a. And here we are still. Here we sell sewing machines, embroidery machines, quilting fabrics, fashion fabrics and haberdashery.
In 2007 we had the opportunity to open a second store in Schagen . At Nieuwe Laagzijde 41. We sell about the same assortment in Schagen , just a little less fashion fabrics because the store is a little smaller.
The two of us run the stores; Nancy and Johan Kiers. We alternate with the stores, so we both keep feeling with both stores. We sell these brands: Bernina - Husqvarna Viking - Pfaff - Brother - Singer - Janome and are certified dealers. We always try as best we can, together with the customer, to find a machine that suits him or her! After purchasing a machine, the customer can take advantage of a free lesson, so that they can learn all the tricks of the new machine.
