The West Frisian Folklore is a household name in Schagen, 10 weeks of old Dutch folklore during the summer months with a different theme each week. For fresh shopping, a garland of market stalls is set up on the Gedempte Gracht every Thursday. And in the summer months there are several extra (theme) markets in the always cozy Schagen.
