Bookstore Plukker is an independent book and stationery store established around 1870 in the heart of Schagen. We are a generously stocked 850m2 Libris bookstore with a wide range of books and e-books in all genres and our own webshop.
The bookstore at its current location was once started by the Plukker family to sell in Bibles and rosaries, later the book range was expanded to include;
- office supplies,
- magazines,
- greeting cards,
- Talens hobby items,
- gift items,
- music, vinyl
- games
- souvenirs
There is also a Culture Café with freshly ground coffee and tea, and there are many lectures and activities organized.
The booksellers at Plukker are happy to provide personalized book recommendations in all genres from novels, to thrillers, literature, children's books and non-fiction.
