Making delicious bread and pastries is a craft. A craft which the bakers of Slijkerman have practiced with heart and soul since 1934. They get up before dawn to make the most delicious bread and pastries from the best ingredients.
Since 1996 they have also been located in Schagen . First on the Loet and later also with a store on the Nieuwstraat. Stores where the customer is warmly welcomed and still feels really king.
Besides "ordinary" tasty bread and pastries, they also bake a number of genuine West Frisian specialties such as; the West Frisian Currant Biscuit, filled with cinnamon sugar; the Schagenees, a cookie with cinnamon flavor; the Kermisspouwer, a rusk bun with anise and only for sale during the fair season and the West Frisian Sugar Bun with cinnamon sugar. Delicious specialties that are well worth a visit to one of our stores.
