Schagerbrug

All around Schagerbrug is one and all nature. The vast polders, sea air, dunes and the beach just a stone's throw away. This is the ideal base for cycling and walking tours. Or perhaps surfing on the North Sea and horseback riding through the dunes? Also take a tour through the Zijperpolder, where from north to south runs the rustic canal Grote Sloot, with villages like Burgerbrug, Sint Maartensbrug and Oudesluis on either side. In the summer Grote Sloot is part of an art route.

By the way, don't forget the Zijper Museum! In Schagerbrug, in the former town hall of the Municipality of Zijpe, you will find a special collection of historical objects; from very old cheese presses to classic Dutch maps.
