Monster Parade

Schagen Warns: on Oct. 25, the city will be taken over by little monsters!

Get ready for a spooky, but mostly fun afternoon at Schagen! On Friday, October 25, the shopkeepers of Makado Schagen are organizing a special Halloween party for children. Starting at 4 p.m., the streets of Schagen will be filled with little monsters, witches, and ghosts. They will look monstrously beautiful. The town has been warned!

From 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., children can walk through the mall past all the retailers for an exciting Trick or Treat route, encountering all sorts of monstrous surprises and treats. From magic potions to scary (but delicious!) candies, there is plenty to discover.

The party offers more than just candy. At the Halloween workshop, children can make their own scary mask, make a scary bracelet or ornament. Creepy music plays through the speakers. And look carefully around you because in many a store there will be remarkably strange staff. Dance school Rebounce brings the perfect Halloween atmosphere with their dancers dressed up especially for this day, who have become the most beautiful and scary little monsters in the country.

At Dunselman bakery, kids can make their own cobwebs - for a fee - a creative and delicious snack! If you want to capture your scary outfit, you can do so in the Fresh Market at the Halloween Photobooth, created by Kim Bijpost.

Monster Parade

At 7 p.m., all the monsters gather in front of the church for an impressive performance by the dancers of Rebounce. After their spectacular dance moves, the little creeps will walk in a big parade with all the other monsters from the Marketplace across the Gedempte Gracht, back to Makado. To end the monster parade, all the little monsters will get an ice cream at Bistro Smul. Who will you come and scare with?

Come to Makado Schagen and indulge in an afternoon of exciting surprises and monstrous adventures. Schagen, be warned - Halloween is coming!
